Born 1964 Emad Bonakdar started
his studies on the acoustic guitar at the age of 19 under the
guidance of Bahman Nassri. Because of musical interest and in
addition to this former studies he also began to learn the flamenco
guitar and its specialities in style. In 1992 he performed for
the first time with a group calld “Atin” in the
Cultural Federation “Bahman”. Bonakdar’s last
performance on stage was in 1999. After that he worked in other
musical areas like film music etc to get an insight. In the
year 2000 he released his current CD “Arg” with
his ensemble named “Bonakdar”.
Born 1968 Darshan Jot Singh he began to study the tabla at the
early age of 7. His first Album “Music of India”
he released together with Ali Burujerdi. He performed on several
concerts with Masoud Shoaari, Davoud Azad, Keywan Saket etc.
Born in 1972 Reza Abaei studied music and was one of the musical
leaders of the groups “Aavije” and “Rumi”.
He is member of the groups “Payur” and “Aref”
and is now musical leader of the group “Shiva”.
With his former group “Rumi” he has been invited
to many festivals in India.
Born 1978 Hamed Nikpey began to learn the first steps of the
repertoire of learned music (“radif”) from the early
age of 7 under the guidance of his mother. After that at the
age of 9 he began to study the instruments Tar and Setar with
S. Tolooie and H. Zarif. He also participated in different festivals
in India. At the moment he is the vocalist of the group “Rumi”.
Born 1980 Ehsan Faramarzi started his studies on the guitar
at the early age of 6. In his youth he has been invited to several
festivals for flamenco music. 2002 he won the 1st prize on a
flamenco festival in Iran.
Born 1982 Homayoon Nassiri he started learning the Tonbak from
the age of 9. Apart from that he worked with artists like B.
Amini, P. Soleymanipour and Popsingers like Alireza Assar.
Born 1983 Peter Akup Malhami he studied the bass guitar at the
age of 14 under the guidance of B. Riaipour. He has been performing
with many groups on different occasions. |
